The Bra Fitting Room

Bra Fitting come be somewhat difficult in an on-line environment. Even so, we have had about 99.9% success rate at recommending the correct size bra for our customers.

Here is a method you can use to determine your bra size...

(1) With your current bra ON, take a measurement around the torso just under your arms and above your breasts. Be sure to keep the tape level all the way around! 

Write down your result in inches.

This determines your "band" size.

For example, if your result was 38, then your band size is 38. This is a USA size. To determine the Australian equivalent, you need to deduct 22. Therefore a USA size 38 is equivalent to a AUS size 16.

Note: If your measurement was an odd number, then round up to the next nearest even number. For example, 37 inches rounds up to 38 inches.

(2) Next, measure around the fullest part of the bustline. Be sure you are standing properly, and that you keep the tape level all the way around! 

Determine your cup size by deducting measurement (1) from measurement (2).

For example if (1) is 38, and (2) is 44, then the difference is  6 inches - refer to the tables below to find your cup size.

To double check your band size, take a measurement around the underbust. Again, ensure that the measure is kept level at all times and the measurement is taken as close as possible to where the 'band' of the bra must sit around your torso. Note the measurement in inches on a piece of paper.

If your measurement is:

BELOW 40", then add 5"
ABOVE 40", then add 3.5"

Example:

Underbust 33", add 5" = 38".

Again, if you get an odd number, then round up your figure to the nearest even number.

This final figure should be the same as the measurement you took above in step (1). If it is substantially different, we recommend you re-measure yourself, taking extra care to remain upright and keeping the tape measure level.
